Because of reduced numbers for the older age groups, SYSA has struggled to field a team or find a league to play in. New this year in 2025, SYSA has joined forces with Sturgeon Heights soccer in attempt to allow Stonewall players in this age group to have an opportunity to play. Details will be worked out once numbers are understood. The days of play, age groups, and whether it is an all-Stonewall team or combined with other regions cannot be determined until registration is closed, or almost closed. Typically WYSA operates under these conditions. If we cannot find a spot for the player to play, all registration fees will be refunded.
WYSA U13-U18 Recreational League
Schedule Release Date: Friday, April 18th, 2025 (barring any major setbacks).
Number of Matches: 18
Days of Play: U13s, U15s, and U17s will play Tuesdays & Thursdays, with an alternate day of Sunday; U14s, U16s, and U18s will play Mondays & Wednesdays, with an alternate day of Friday. If two age groups need to be combined, we will communicate which day of play will be used.
Season Format: All teams will play a 14-match League Season, followed by 4 Playoff matches. The top 2 teams will then move on to the Championship finals. New for 2025, the Championship Finals are going to be held at the Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex!!
Season Kickoff: Monday, May 5th, 2025 (This date will be dependant on weather).
Season Length:
The League Season runs from May 5th, 2025, until June 27th, 2025.
Playoffs will run from July 7th, 2025, until July 18th, 2025.
Championship Finals Weekend will be the weekend of July 19th, 2025.
